Finance · Eller College of Management

Business-minded.Finance-driven.Always evolving.

I’m a Finance student at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management, interested in how financial knowledge and strategic thinking can turn opportunities into meaningful business outcomes. My experiences across operations, leadership, customer service, marketing, and academic projects have shaped the way I approach challenges and work with people.

About me

An emerging finance professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, a broad understanding of business, and a passion for turning ideas into action.

I approach challenges with curiosity, collaborate with different people, and continuously look for opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow.

Finance is my direction, but my understanding of business comes from many places. I’ve solved shipping problems in an Amazon fulfillment center, led a front-of-house team, hosted open houses for licensed realtors, and worked through high-volume rushes alongside kitchen and support staff. Each environment taught me something different about how businesses actually run, and about the people who make them work.

I earned my Associate of Business Administration at Pima Community College and now study Finance at the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management. I’m especially interested in corporate finance, FP&A, and business strategy: understanding decisions, evaluating opportunities, and allocating resources well.

Beyond the numbers, I enjoy collaboration, public speaking, and networking, and exchanging ideas with people who see things differently than I do. I’m curious about entrepreneurship, travel, and new perspectives, and I’m always looking for the next thing to learn.

My evolution

Building from zero. Thinking beyond limitations.

Four chapters that shaped how I think about business, work, and growth, from the example that sparked my curiosity to the direction I’m building toward now.

01 Chapter 1 · The Foundation

Learning what it takes to build something.

Growing up, I had the opportunity to look up to my father, an entrepreneur and business owner. His example introduced me to the idea of building something of your own.

What interested me was never the title or the authority that comes with owning a business. It was everything underneath it: the leadership, the responsibility, and the persistence and resilience it takes to make something successful. That is where my curiosity about entrepreneurship began.

02 Chapter 2 · Starting Over

A new country, a new language, a new beginning.

After my father’s passing, I had the opportunity to move to the United States and begin a new life.

That meant adapting to a different country, learning a new language, and navigating an unfamiliar system without an established support network. I chose not to let those challenges define my limits. I treated each one as an opportunity to develop.

03 Chapter 3 · Building Through Action

Learning by doing, one shift and one semester at a time.

My path has meant balancing college, work, and personal development while adapting to a new environment. Working while pursuing higher education taught me responsibility, consistency, time management, communication, and perseverance.

I believe opportunities exist for people willing to learn, take initiative, and work toward their goals, and that no one should let their current circumstances, or their current salary, define what they can eventually build.

04 Chapter 4 · Turning Ambition Into Strategy

Why finance.

My interest in finance comes from wanting to understand how financial knowledge can turn ambitions into realistic plans and actions.

To me, finance is more than numbers. It is a way to understand decisions, evaluate opportunities, allocate resources, and help people build better futures. That is the direction I want to pursue: combining financial knowledge with strategic business thinking to contribute to meaningful outcomes.
